Client:  Dell Inc.  On September 7, 2016, Dell and EMC joined forces in the largest technology merger in history to become Dell Technologies. Dell Technologies unites seven technology leaders – Dell, Dell EMC, Pivotal, RSA, Secureworks, Virtustream and VMware – in one company with the power to drive digital transformation and generate real results every day for the customers and people who partner with us.

 

Dell Inc. requirements: A third-party agency was seeking a reliable Turkish language service provider for the localization of Dell’s information documents related to Laptops, Desktops, Workstations, Monitors, PC Accessories, Servers, and more.

Achievement: We successfully created a win-win-win situation and subsequently secured a major Exxon project from the same client.

 

Our Solution: For the Dell project, we required translators who could handle both technical language and creative copywriting. Our experienced project manager skillfully identified, booked, and assigned translators with expertise in computer terminologies and creative writing. We implemented a three-step translation process integrated with a language quality assessment, following detailed instructions, style guide, brand guidelines, glossary, and other specific requirements. Through effective terminology management, we ensured the use of accurate and industry-standard technical terms in the Turkish versions.
