Alibaba provides the technology infrastructure and marketing reach to help merchants, brands and other businesses to leverage the power of new technology to engage with their users and customers and operate in a more efficient way.

 

🔹Alibaba’s requirements 

Long-term collaboration in translation and machine translation post editing (MTPE) under comprehensive instructions. This project was going to be monitored through LQA process. 

🔹Achievement

This demanding localization project continued 3 months with 4 translators. Alibaba was satisfied with our performance. We offered affordable Alibaba Listing Translation Services in Turkish. 

 

The Challenge
Many of the original vendor-authored source texts on Alibaba were of poor quality, which made machine translation unreliable. Our senior project manager quickly determined that revising the machine translation would be more expensive than starting over. They recommended shifting the budget to a full human translation instead, and the client approved the change.

 

Our Solution
We then brought on four expert translators whose skills were a perfect match for the project's technical requirements and budget. They followed detailed guidelines, conducted extensive research on the products and company, and collaborated closely to ensure consistency.

Our continuous Language Quality Assessment (LQA) process confirmed that the translations were consistently high-quality and well-adapted to the target audience.
