As a translation agent, we generally regard most translation

It is clear that each job is unique. However, they all share

degree of similarity. Although prescribed procedures are
helpful in
order to standardize management efforts, translation projects
are so complex and various in kind that prescribed procedures
may not
literally cover all aspects of every project. Therefore, when
assigning
a job, one must always keep in mind the need for a Project
Manager
(PM) who makes a special set of decisions unique to each
project.
Each translation project is supervised by a project manager
who is responsible for carrying out the project in accordance
with the
prescribed procedures and client expectations.

Manager is paramount where some critical decisions involve:

the
content.
