Audio recording services
Interpreters possess intellectual property rights over their work and before the audio services they provide can be recorded and used by others, their written authorization is required. Therefore, interpretation recording services need to be negotiated and included in the agreement prior to the event (interpretation services provided to radio or TV companies are excluded).
Transportation to conference venues for interpreters
Transportation to conferences must be provided to interpreters when the events in question are held outside the city center or in locations where the interpreter does not live.
Costs incurred by the interpreter that must be met by the conference organizer

transportation (including costs of round trip airplane tickets) for locations outside the interpreters’ domicile

hotel accommodations (cost of single rooms per interpreter) where the conference is held

Travel conditions and rest requirements
Travel conditions should be such that neither the health of interpreters nor the quality of their interpretation be negatively affected.
Sufficient time for the interpreters to rest before being expected to work must be provided.
